Happy hour Paris

Any day in may in any terrace in the city centre of Paris it would be difficult to find a free table in happy hour time, specially when the day becomes longer and the dusk hotter.

Of course, this year was different. After almost two months of lockdown because of the Covid-19 pandemic, from 11th may it was allowed to go out without certificate, and the result was an unprecedented situation : Paris without cafes nor tourists, something that even the 2015 terrorist attacks did not get it. Every evening, at the same time that the Seine river was full of people toasting to celebrate the end of the lockdown situation, the most symbolic places of the Latin Quarter and the Marais became empty after the closing of the shops. Thus, the usually very crowded streets appeared those of a ghost town. Using a view camera, this pictures have been taken between seven and nine in the evening the first week after the unlockdown in Paris.
